K10 are back in UK Counter-Strike, picking up the reigning UKIC champions who previously competed under EXO. James “bevve” Slinn and Marco “MMS” Salomone headline the roster, which won last season’s UKIC Division 1 alongside AWPer Shiran “shushan” Shushan. They parted ways with in-game leader Adam “Adam9130” Ahmad earlier this week, and his longstanding duo William “dobbo” Dobson will not join the newest adventure either.
Joining instead is Allen “Speedy” Sorensen. The young Dane has played with teams such as AGF and Sashi Esport. Fans of mathematics will note this still leaves a vacant spot – the team will utilise Adam9130 and Tal “meztal” Hahiashvili as stand-ins while they look for a permanent in-game leader. They were set to add Sebastian “Basso” Aargaard as their caller and fifth, but this fell through.
Since entering the scene in 2022 K10 have consistently signed UK-based teams featuring the likes of Jack “JackB” Burton and Adam “AdamJC” Colwell, plus an academy and female team, K10 FRWD and K10 Ashes. Their main team, headlined by Jamie “Tree60” Callan, won UKIC Season 0 late last year, but lost the Season 1 Grand Final to The Neighbours at Insomnia 72. The organisation parted ways with that team in May, as the squad disbanded and sought new opportunities. Much like with that roster, K10 will rotate a UK-based academy player into the side for UKIC, to comply with roster rules.
The team have been announced for CCT Online Series 7 Play-Ins, will compete in ESEA Advanced and look to defend their UKIC title in the upcoming Season 3.
In a statement given to UKCSGO, K10 commented:
Its been a tough four months, but I’m excited to finally announce our return to the very top of the scene. This signing signals our continued commitment to the UK scene, our developing stars such as “M1n1mal” in our academy system, and the start of a new chapter in K10’s history as we start our journey back to the heights we achieved earlier in the year.
K10 will look for a fifth and are currently:
James “bevve” Slinn
Marco “MMS” Salomone
Shiran “shushan” Shushan
Allen “Speedy” Sorensen
Nick “carbs” Carboretto (coach)
