ALASKA are entering their final game with the roster we have come to know and love. To end it all off they face off against rivals 8Sins in the UKIC Season 5 Division 1 finals. This rivalry ignited during EPIC.LAN 44 which saw an intense Grand Finals edged the way of ALASKA. This doesn’t seem to deter ALASKA as they are feeling supremely confident ahead of the game
UKCSGO sits down with Jamie “Tree60” Callan before the Grand Finals to talk about how ALASKA are feeling, their confidence levels, and will the absence of their coach matter.

How are you doing today?
I am doing really good Freddie. I don’t think I have been back here since 2023 when we won Season 0 back when I was with K10. Really excited to be back
How does it feel to be now playing with the people you beat in that Grand Finals?
It feels really good, I don’t ever let them forget it, always mentioning that I beat them. Probably gets on their nerves but I love it.
What are your thoughts on the upcoming game? You have played 8Sins a lot but it has been very close each time.
I think in those past games they got really lucky. Today will just be a quick 2-0. We have a lot of us really preparing and really practising for this, excited to show them. I think they will be shocked at how fast they lose this.
I respect the confidence. With the roster going their separate ways, this is your last dance. Does that give the team more energy to end on a high?
We are all really excited to be here and get this last win. Will probably be the last for Girafffe and not sure what the others are planning.
It will be really nice to win this and not go out on a loss.
You do not have your coach biscu with you today. Is someone going to have to step up and be more hype or be more of a calming voice?
I think the hype is going to be really important here. biscu was usually the one screaming and hyping everyone up between rounds, I think will now have to set into this role. In past teams I was the one hyping and screaming, so I am going to let them hear it today.
Are you excited they are taking down the barriers and opening up the space?
Oh yeah, we have put me on the end as well so I will be screaming around the edge.
